Initial Consultation

The evaluation and consultation process begins with a comprehensive, 1-to-2-hour initial intake. During this meeting, I will discuss your primary concerns, review all available clinical records, and gather essential background data, including medical, psychological, social, and developmental histories. This information is reviewed directly with adult patients and any authorized collateral sources you choose to involve. For children, I work closely with parents and key collateral sources, such as teachers or other involved professionals, to build a complete picture. This foundational session allows us to build a tailored assessment or intervention plan. 

The total cost of a comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation varies based on the complexity and scope of the testing required. Your complete assessment fee will be explicitly outlined, reviewed, and agreed upon prior to the start of any testing sessions.

Following your initial intake consultation, ongoing psychotherapy and cognitive rehabilitation services are billed on a fixed, per-session basis.

The cost of a comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation depends on the specific referral questions and other clinical factors that help me determine how much time is needed to reliably answer those questions and develop a tailored intervention plan. It is a flat fee based on an hourly estimate of the time required for the clinical intake, gathering information from collateral sources, testing administration, scoring, report writing, and the feedback session. 

This all-inclusive rate ensures there are no unexpected costs as we move through the assessment process.

I am an out-of-network (fee-for-service) provider and do not bill insurance companies directly. Many medical insurance companies may cover part or all of the assessment cost depending on the referral question. A detailed superbill containing all necessary clinical and billing information will be provided that can be submitted to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

Initial Consultation: The fee for this foundational appointment is a standalone charge due at the time of the session. This rate will be discussed prior to your appointment. Please note that patients are financially responsible for this initial consultation even if they ultimately choose not to proceed with further testing or treatment.

Assessment Fees: Payment is due at the start of the evaluation. Customized payment plans are available upon request, allowing the fee to be divided into two or three installments, with the final payment due upon completion of the report and at the time of the feedback session.

Therapy & Remediation Services: For individual therapy, ADHD psychoeducation, and cognitive remediation, payment is expected at the time of each session.
